Full Time Athlete, Part Time Model 

Tiaan is a  professional sprinter based in Christchurch, New Zealand. He has  been competing in track and field for over 13 years now having started at the age of 10 in South Africa - where he was born and raised. Having obtained his Bachelor's of Science at the end of 2022, majoring in Geoscience he very recently began focusing on Track and Field full time and at the start of 2023 Tiaan decided to dedicate his life to his love of speed and pushing his own limits.

Tiaan now stands as the reigning 100m national champion, the 100m resident record holder and a New Zealand representative athlete having competed at the 2023 World Championships in Budapest where he managed to place 37th as well as the 2024 Indoor World Championships in Scotland where he placed 21st. He has also raced all over the world standing on podiums from Japan to throughout Europe and even South Africa.

Tiaan's  goal is to become the first New Zealander ever to run under 10s and along the way become the fastest New Zealander ever by going under 10.08s. Currently he is only 0.06s away from that which is less time then it takes to blink! Sprinting is his life and his passion and he's  planning to keep improving and competing on the world stage for the next two Olympic cycles at least. Tiaan is only 24 years old, which is still young for a sprinter, and having only started to take this seriously very recently he and we believe his potential to still be mostly untapped!

Other than sprinting Tiaan has been working as a professional model for the better part of 4 years now - which is how he  has managed to help fund his dreams thus far. He has quickly become one of the top male models in his region and has successfully modeled for multiple well known domestic and international brands.
