6 years of juggling sport and study led me to completing my Law degree in 2020.  I knew I didn’t want to be a Lawyer but I wanted to find a way to use the skills I gained in the sporting world focusing on helping athletes  gain an advantage. So here I am today turning my visions and dreams into a reality. 

My professional athlete journey began in 2019 obtaining a training contract with the Black Fern Sevens. 2020 saw me living in Japan playing sevens on my first full time contract. In 2021 I returned to New Zealand and picked up a contract with the Black Fern fifteen aside game which went on to be my full time job as of 2022 and still continues to be today. However, I've always been passionate about balance, identifying and taking on opportunities outside of rugby and never being content with my status quo. 

During the beginning years of my career I needed support. I was stuck in Japan during the Covid pandemic, had issues with my financial and non-financial welfare, wanted to have someone seeking opportunities both domestically and globally when injuries and game time didn't go my way and I also had plenty of question to ask but doing so on my own behalf may have implied i was ungrateful and/or needy.
