Reese Anderson is a dynamic and versatile rugby player, known for her fierce determination and powerful presence on the field. A Utility Back by position, Reese is currently a Black Ferns contracted player (2025) and a key member of the Chiefs Manawa (2023/25). She also played a pivotal role in the Hamilton Old Boys Rugby Club Champions win (2021/22) and contributed to the Waikato Women’s Team championship victories in both 2021 and 2024.
In addition to her rugby union success, Reese has made waves in Rugby Sevens. She was part of the NZ Black Ferns 7s Training Contract (2022/23) and earned MVP honors at the World School 7s tournament (2022). Reese has represented Waikato 7s in multiple years (2020, 2021, and 2023), and was part of the prestigious NZ Secondary School Condors tournament team in 2019.
Beyond her playing career, Reese holds a degree in Business from the University of Waikato, specializing in Human Resource Management and Te Reo Māori. A proud graduate of Hamilton Girls’ High School, Reese continues to excel both on and off the field, embodying leadership, resilience, and a passion for her culture and sport.
